Stewart Butler holds a Bachelor's degree in Digital Communications with a minor in Data Science, which he acquired in 2021 from Houghton College.

Stewart Butler led the team that produced LISTEN. Butler served as writer, director, editor, and animator on this VR, 360 experience, completed as a Capstone Project final at Finger Lakes Community College. As director of the group project, Butler was responsible for keeping everything on schedule and working with the VR technology. The project was presented and released May 10, 2019.
Stewart Butler directed, scheduled, filmed, and edited the 5-video web-series. The series tackles 5 difficult questions about Faith and God with excellent lessons and beautiful animated visuals.

Stewart Butler is credited for writing, directing, cinematography, and editing on Romano, a gangster-film inspired short. Starring Carl Wager as the titular gangster, this film captures Butler's ability to spoof genres and work with talented/acclaimed actors (Wager).
Stewart Butler and TJ Sek co-wrote, co-directed, and co-edited the short film Screen, part of a project for a "Digital Video" class at Finger Lakes Community College. The short film showcases Butler's ability to co-create a project and make a suspenseful film.
